Note
At the bottom of the page is a video summary of this post.
When I log my time on Teamwork, I like to do it as I do the work. Here’s how to do that!
First, I search for the job I want to log time against in My timesheet.
Adding a job to My Timesheet
If the job is not on My timesheet , I can add it from the bottom, where it says Add project/task
. That has the added benefit of that task remaining in My timesheet
for the entire week, or until its completed.
Caution
Avoid adding entire projects in your timesheet, as they will remain there until the project is complete.
Starting a timer
Press the Start timer
icon:
That starts a timer that will follow me everywhere in the Teamwork browser tab:
When I am done with a task, I can go to my timers pop-up anywhere on Teamwork, and press the red stop button to log my time:
That opens the Time log dialogue
, where I can double-check that the time, date and task notes are correct, before pressing Log time
.
