The default name for each project folder is as follows:
Breakdown:
- _1234 - That part is replaced by the Job Number. Currently, the job number is assigned by our Client Liaisons, who use missioncontrol@studioglobal.co.uk. They keep up-to-date on what the latest job number is and assign a job number when a new job comes in the studio.
Tip
If there is a new job but no job number has been provided, we will use “_1234”, like this: “_1234 - NAG - branding” The underscore keeps the job on the top of the folder, so we know it needs re-naming.
-
Client Name - This is where the client’s name goes. We use the first 3 letters of the company name, eg. “Grosvenor” - “GRO”, but some company names don’t adapt too well to that naming convention, eg. from “Newmark” to “NEW”. Please refer to Teamwork, for more information.
-
Job name - This is where the name of the job would go. Short and simple is the best when naming a new project.
Example
- 50063 - Newmark - Website
- 50045 - NHS - Neurodiversity case study videos
- 48675 - Openwide - News & Gifts Shutter board design
