Organisation Tips:
- Create ad-hoc subfolders within any folder to better organise files. Examples:
Case Study Imagery
withinOutput
Translated
withinFinal
.- Add an
_Old
subfolder to archive outdated files after major project changes.- Helpful to know - File naming - Versioning
Audio
This is where we put any audio files that we use for videos. Things like Music, temp voiceover, sound effects.
The audio files can be further organised into:
- Music
- VO (VoiceOver)
- SFX (Sound Effects)
Proofs
Files sent to the client for approval with version numbers (sample videos, PDFs, images, examples, etc.). These represent work that needs client sign-off before final deliverables are created.
Final
This folder contains the client-approved, final deliverable files (videos, PDFs, images, etc.). After client approval and creation of v1 of the final deliverable, save it here.
Move any outdated versions into the _old
subfolder.
